Texans for Special Education Reform (TxSER) is the leading grassroots disability organization focused specifically on improving special education to prepare Texas individuals with disabilities for future education, employment, community participation, and independent living.

We are parents, educators, advocates, and allies who support the educational civil rights of students with disabilities in Texas.

We believe children, families, schools, and communities benefit from policies and practices that prepare all Texas students with disabilities for their futures. Join our movement to advance the educational civil rights of and promote best practices for the construction and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans and transition to adulthood for every Texas child.
